Lymph-Flo: Cleanse the Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system and is a vital component of the immune system. When lymph nodes are overloaded with excess toxins (from colds or infections), they swell and become painful.  They produce antibodies to protect the body from future viruses, bacteria, yeast, and other organisms. The lymphatic system is the cellular toxin disposal system, while at the same time lymph fluid  transports nutrients, such as salts, minerals and proteins to every cell in the body.

Dr. C. Samuel West, chemist and lymphologist, states in his book, The Golden Seven Plus One, “The primary obstruction in the body of the typical person is protein trapped in the intercellular lymph fluid between the cells. The whole process of detoxification consists of removing these obstructions from the lymph fluid and washing them out of the body. As your body is lightened by obstructions, your health will rise accordingly.”

Lymph-Flo is a superior combination of seven different herbs that are specifically formulated to assist in cleansing and rejuvenating the lymphatic system. Lymph-Flo helps to cleanse the blood and supports a stronger immune response in times of infection or other disease.

  • Cleavers Herb = Kidney detoxification
  • Marigold Flower = Promotes healthy skin
  • Pau D’Arco = Immune Boosting
  • Red Raspberry Leaf = Tones the female organs
  • White Peony = Cleanses the blood
  • Basil Leaf = Helps relieve cold and flu symptoms
  • Wild Lettuce Herb = Sedative to soothe coughing

In addition to this herbal combination, Lymph-Flo  is Fulvic Infused™, which is the exclusive trademark for Universal Formulas’ products which are enhanced with Tracite™, a mineral rich concentrate containing 77 essential fulvic minerals, trace elements and electrolytes. Zenplicity

I am looking at a small Japanese-glazed bowl that is sitting on a credenza amid the chaos of my home office. It is empty and serene, holding nothing and yet holding everything. It creates anxiety in me because it’s a place I’d like to get to yet one that continues to elude me.

Zenplicity is a marriage of Zen (tranquility, serenity) and simplicity, which I don’t mean in a religious text.  To me zenplicity is the creation and experience of being calm in mind and spirit. It is the creation of a simple lifestyle that efficiently works for me, not against me, but it can only be experienced when I diligently apply my attention to create it.

You see, over time, the natural law of nature is to become chaotic. Things go from organized to disorganized, simple to complex, clean to dirty. It takes energy and attention, like spring-cleaning, to create and maintain tranquility.

Creating an organized, efficient life requires first intention, then attention,  and only then effort.  Proper effort achieves calmness. But it requires constant effort to maintain simplicity. It’s like, as soon as you drive that new car off the lot everything works against its spotless condition. It begins to wear and requires constant attention.  So my tranquility is experienced in cycles, it’s experienced along the journey and it has become my journey. The solace in finding chaos is that in my awareness of it – in my office, in my mind, or I could say, as toxins in my body – the actual beauty is in the awareness and the gratitude that rises up. In knowing chaos, I can identify what tranquility and simplicity is and put action toward that. Someone once said, we know beauty because there is ugliness.

The message for me is intention.  Nothing maintains itself; our faith, our love, our friendships, all aspects of life require continuous care. Some people tap into that peace through meditation, prayer and study. Some use activities in nature like going for a run or fishing, anything one “get’s lost in” that brings them to a place of unplugging from the chaos and noise.

One of my goals for 2012 is to create more zenplicity in my life, even carving out a simple diet goes along with that. March is our cleanse month and I am personally gearing up to do a major cleanse, which will help me step closer to my goal of overall simplicity. So as I prepare my diet by lowering my animal food intake and reducing processed foods, I will also unclutter my mind by scheduling things that quiet my thoughts and focus my attention on loving activity.

After I have painstakingly plodded through organizing my office and have finished my cleanse, it will be easy to clutter things up. I know this is my process and as I inch toward greater zenplicity, I can understand what it is to embrace that journey with peace in my heart. So for now, my baby step is to picture myself in a state of calm, perfect health in this moment and to allow the next moment take care of itself.  Ah, now that empty Japanese bowl serenely sitting in the sunlight doesn’t look so intimidating after all.
