Marketing people can be very cruel sometimes. My assignment is to share my personal experience about the secret ingredient in our sauce.
A career in industrial automation and engineering led me to place my bets on concrete, measurable analysis and results. So I recall being skeptical of fulvic minerals and the story behind them when I became CEO of Universal Formulas. However sometimes I have to listen to my gut because I started to wake up to the fact that I felt better by taking them daily.
This is the first in a series of short articles to explain the science that has been done on our product, Tracite™, Universal Formulas’ fulvic trace minerals, starting with my own skepticism and how we purchased the mine.
Of course I had heard about humic acid, but fulvic acid? And wasn’t that just for soil? How does it affect human health? Preliminary studies by academics and results from health practitioners revealed three extraordinary fundamental attributes:
- Fulvic minerals are nutrient and electrolyte transport agents, carrying nutrients directly to the cells, making them superior bio-agents.
- Fulvic minerals revitalize cells by harmonizing chemical activity with their highly charged electrolytes.
- Fulvic minerals are detoxifiers, ushering out cellular toxins, preserving vitality and youth, making them super anti-oxidants.
These claims were astounding and even ten years later they remain so. No other simple natural substance on earth compares to fulvic acid-bound trace minerals. Shrouded in unsubstantiated data for centuries, as all natural remedies are, I considered the anecdotal evidence our formulators were gathering, as well as the agricultural and livestock industries’ knowledge. Adding fulvic trace minerals to their crops and livestock feed yields stronger, disease-resistant, nutrient-dense products.
In the early 1990s, our formulators began a search for the source of these rare minerals. We made contact with the family who owned this remote, rural land since the late 1800s. The patriarch was elderly and wanted to pass on the mineral mine to a good steward but none of his children were interested. We approached him at the right time with the same desire to continue these values of naturally harvesting and purely processing the minerals with no extraction agents of any kind.
The deal was struck to purchase the mine and now Universal Formulas has complete control to harvest these minerals in their purest form, the way it has been done for centuries. Today these minerals enhance our line of natural health supplements – one might say it’s our “secret” ingredient.
The concept of the Internet back in the 1970’s was unknown and incredulous. I’m sure the early proponents of it felt as I do about fulvic. How does one introduce and discuss something with acute science yet is not in the mainstream consciousness? Well, it’s a mission impossible challenge, if you ask me. So, in a series of forthcoming articles I will attempt to explain the details of these amazing little molecules.
